There will be a distinctly human touch to this year’s Travellers Choice Conference in Adelaide, with members, speakers and workshops exploring a simple but powerful theme: ‘Our People, Our Future’.

Managing Director Christian Hunter says that while technology has a critical role in today’s travel process, building and sustaining relationships remains the key to ongoing success.

“This year’s conference will provide insights on practical, effective and innovative ways members can create and nurture meaningful relationships not just with their customers, but with employees, suppliers and partners in order to drive business success,” says Christian.

“It’s everything from forging strong connections and cultivating customer loyalty to developing leadership skills and inspiring the people you work with.”

Delegates will also notice a change a name change, a rebadge that Christian says aligns perfectly with this year’s theme.

“The new name is more inclusive and appropriate for an event which embraces not just shareholders but their staff members and of course our much valued business partners.”

This year’s conference will take place at the Adelaide Convention Centre from 15-17 November, with the Annual General Meeting and Shareholders’ Forum once again taking place on the opening day.

Members will stay at the five-star InterContinental Hotel, which sits on the banks of the River Torrens, adjacent to the Convention Centre and directly opposite the Adelaide Oval, one of the world’s most picturesque sporting venues. The hotel and convention centre are short walk to Rundle Mall and the city’s North Terrace, home to the Art Gallery of South Australia and the Botanic Gardens.
