Gathered on a stunning clifftop the agents watched the sun set before savouring the Fish Fry's famous selection of local dishes – including Pilhi (savoury banana slice) and home-made coconut bread – and enjoying live entertainment from the Baunti Byuutis dancing group.
Global Travel Co's Ben Apsey says the event was a "standout".
"Enjoying freshly caught Red Emperor on a clifftop while watching Polynesian dancers perform as the sun goes down is a truly memorable way to experience Norfolk Island's culture and hospitality," says Apsey.
The famil, led by Norfolk Select's founder David Bantoft, included a variety of excursions offered by local operator, Pinetree Tours, including an eye-opening Convict Settlement Tour and a unique progressive dinner, which saw agents hosted at three different Norfolk family homes.
Apsey says he was surprised by how much Norfolk Island has to offer.
"It's a hidden gem and the perfect holiday option for couples, families and retirees wanting a South Pacific escape without the long-haul flight."
Jonty Southam from Home and Afar Travel also praised the Island's hospitality, culture and activities, but there was one feature she was unprepared for.
"From the moment I saw the Island from our plane window I was shocked at the incredible colours," says Southam. "The lush, vibrant greens and the crystal-clear blue waters were spectacular. Norfolk’s natural beauty truly took me by surprise."
