Travellers Choice has created Choose Day to encourage independent travel busineses to unlock a bright new future with the national network.
Managing Director Christian Hunter says that despite winning numerous accolades – including back-to-back NTIA awards as Australia's Best Agency Group – Travellers Choice has traditionally taken a low-key approach to self-promotion.
"Our focus has always been on delivering benefits to our members, rather than blowing our own trumpet,“ says Hunter. "While that has resulted in an unrivalled 100% satisfaction rating among our members, it means that we still come across independent travel agents who know little about our company.
"We are hoping to change that by inviting agents to take time out during Choose Day to learn more about Travellers Choice and the benefits we offer independent agents - from our outstanding marketing, sales and technology support to our flexible membership options and shareholder returns."
Hunter says that with consolidation continuing to reshape the retail travel sector, there has never been a better time for independent agents to review their current consortia arrangements.

The ongoing Choose Day promotion is just one element of Travellers Choice's new recruitment strategy. The national network is also now looking to appoint its first Network Development Manager - a Sydney-based role focused solely on building the group's brand and acquiring new members.
